Dan Sheridan

Dan is a environmental scientist focusing of local food systems, homesteading, primitive skills, and permaculture principles. Originally from the Hudson Valley He learned to love the land, water, communities and ecosystems that exist in this diverse region of the country. Dan spent his younger years working with Harriman state park, bear my state park and Teatown lake preservation working specifically in animal rehabilitation, habitat restoration and Invasive Plant Removal. Dan believes through regenerative agriculture, integrative native cultivation, and a use of diffent methods and technologies we can create a more stable foundation for community growth and resilience

Liam Dember

Liam Dember is a conscious musician and artist from Hopewell NJ who has transitioned to the Hudson Valley on a journey to connect with and empower the evolving communities in the region.

With a passion for holistic living and collaboration with others he has been drawn to the land of Stone Mountain Farm to discover resonance with the regenerative mission of ELSA.

His journey thus far has been one of developing a powerful relationship with creative expression and spiritual development. After over a decade of cultivating creative skills centered on songwriting and music production, and years of self development he has found Hudson Valley as his home and ELSA as powerful space to contribute and grow as he continues to focus on integrating his passions for creativity, sound, nature, community, wellness, and philosophy.

Jake Strauss

Jake is a climate and energy policy analyst from Red Hook, NY. He learned to love the land and water of the Hudson Valley by exploring the woods of Dutchess County, hiking in the Catskills, Shawangunks and Adirondacks, and listening to Pete Seeger each year at the Clearwater Festival. He is grateful for the work done by activists and conservationists to safeguard our natural heritage, and hopes that human civilization can learn means of prosperity that cherish and strengthen the great gifts offered by a flourishing ecosystem. In his free time, Jake enjoys reading, hiking, playing tabletop games, and listening to funk music.

Jake Shuchat is mechanically inclined, and a hard working individual. Throughout Jake’s life and multiple work experiences, he has always strived to make a positive impact and impression on those he works with. Jake strongly believes in getting the job done right the first time, and applying critical thinking to achieve the best results possible.
